Which program do you model in?
I model mostly in Blender, but I occasionally use Zbrush.

Where do you get your items 3D printed
My 3D printing service of choice is Shapeways.

Do you own a 3D printer? If so, which model is it?
I currently own a Mendel Prusa and a Makergear M2. My Prusa isn't used for prop-making, but I use my M2 for printing prop weapons or items that don't require the detail a professional 3D printer provides.

I bought your mask on your Shapeways shop and it came in a few days ago. Let me just say that it is an incredible likeness. I just can't get over it!

I have a few questions though. I remember you saying you we're going to make a mold out of it. Do you think I could just paint right onto the mask, or should I make a mold? And how would I go about doing that?

Glad you like it! I never made the mold, but you can paint right on the mask if you put a few layers of primer on first. If you want to make it super smooth you can sand each layer of primer as well (which is what I did). Good luck!
